There is no relevant information on Wikipedia so I would like to have a brief introduction.
Being the last type of passenger coach used by KCR before electrification, it was manufactured by Kinki Sharyo in Japan. The coaches entered services in 1974 and being withdrawn in 1983, which seems to be the type with the shortest life cycle. Most of the cars were sold to the Mainland afterwards and used until 2003, while few of them were preserved in Railway Museum.
